The outreach started with an advocacy visit to HIS ROYAL HIGNESS(HRH) Igwe P.N. Anugwu and his cabinets. The team informed the cabinet members of the purpose of the outreach and solicited their support in making the free medical outreach a success.

The medical outreach involved the screening of community members for Malaria, Tuberculosis, HIV, Blood Pressure (BP), Full Blood Screening (FBS), skin/peptic ulcer and other health issues. Medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists, medical laboratory scientists and other health personnel were on ground with medicines, screening/testing tools and other pharmaceutical commodities to meet the needs of the people.  More than 300 persons including children were screened. Among those screened, 15 persons that were identified with presumptive TB had their sputum samples collected and tested in the lab. One of the persons tested was diagnosed with TB. A total of 45 children were diagnosed with malaria and were placed on treatment immediately. Ulcer treatment were also given to patients who diagnosed with the ailment . Equally, 4 persons tested positive for HIV , 7 had high blood pressure  and 3 had high blood glucose levels and were given free treatment and linked to health facilities where they will continue with their treatment.

The traditional ruler of the community and his cabinet appreciated the organization for the medical outreach.
