IPCD held an outreach and training of health workers on 25^th of March 2020 to mark the world TB day at Primary Health Care Centre, Mararaba, Karu LGA, Nasarawa State. The staff and volunteers of IPCTLD conducted an outreach within the Mararaba Market with people enlightened about signs and symptoms of TB and how to prevent themselves from being infected. Sputum samples were collected and taken to the lab for test. Handbills were distributed and persons encouraged to call the NGO or visit any nearby DOT centre in case of any suspected case of TB. The President and TBLS also educated the Mararaba community leaders and health workers during the program. A total of 12 community leaders participated in the celebration.
